The #1 mission for this role may be summarized as follows:
Oversee construction operations and provide project support as needed to ensure client delivery & satisfaction. The function of this position is to work under the supervision of Senior Project Manager and Project Managers.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Superintendent to support our commercial construction team in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial construction, particularly interior renovations in active, fast-paced environments. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager to keep projects running safely, on time, and with the highest quality.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, and material deliveries.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Review drawings, identify discrepancies, and assist with RFIs.
- Monitor progress, perform walk-throughs, and track punchlist items.
- Promote and enforce company and OSHA safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience (interior renovations preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Procore.
- OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain).
